Chapter 40
I finally got discharged and mom took me to our hotel suite, where will be staying for the mean time.
She does not know how long we were going to stay back here in Korea. So, she said she was going to rent an apartment for us to stay until my operation is done and successful.
I definitely agreed with her. It was better than staying in the hospital.
A chaffeur came to pick mom and I from the hospital. I was so happy. I was finally able to breathe in some fresh air properly.
It was no longer the air from the hospital. As we got into the back seat of the car and the chaffeur drove off, I could not help but smile.
There was no longer the smell of hospital, the smell of antiseptic. I breathed out a sigh of relief.
Mom held my hand and squeezed them softly and gently. She smiled at me and nodded her head. I smiled back at her and placed my other hand on our hands.
I rolled down the window and waved my hand outside as the air
