Chapter 5
Lauren suddenly broke the kiss and pushed me off her body.
“This isn’t right!” She said that and ran out of the room. It was something I didn’t understand. I mean, we are married, and from what I know, we both wanted this marriage even if it was arranged by our parents.
So, what wasn’t right with spending the night together when we are legally married?
I stood up from the bed and sighed. I went to the closet and took out my pajamas. I went to the changing room and changed into them.
I sat on the bed and placed my laptop on my thighs and started going through some work stuff, as I’d neglected some office work because of the preparation for the wedding.
After working for some hours, Lauren wasn’t still in the room, and it made me worried. I checked the time, and it was a minute past 11 p.m.
I climbed down from the bed, wore my flip-flops, and walked out of the room.
