Chapter 32. Drake's Mind-Blowing Proposal

Drake was in high spirits the next day after work. He returned home and pulled her into his arms for a tight embrace. “Close your eyes, Alexie,” he said excitedly. Alexie closed her eyes and felt Drake place something in her hands. Opening her eyes, she gasped with surprise at seeing a red rose, just like the one he had given her long back on her birthday. She kissed its petals. 

“Thank you, Drake,” she smiled. Drake looked surprised. 

“You kissed that instead of kissing me?” he asked in disbelief. Alexis laughed and kissed him, but he pulled her more into him. “I want more,” he said with a laugh, picking her up and sitting on the sofa with her. Alexis straddled him and attacked his neck. She loved the way he got so worked up because of her. She loved to see him restraining himself.
