Chapter 34. Before the Wedding

Everyone looked expectantly at them the moment they came downstairs. "So?" asked their ma, hopefully.

"Positive. We're expecting," said Stuart and their ma smiled happily. Their dad, too, smiled indulgently at them. Thankfully, no one blasted Stuart, although he was apprehensive about announcing the truth.

"Are you very sick? How will you go through the wedding?" asked their ma with apprehension.

"I can manage ma. It isn't so serious. By three weeks maybe I'll be better," said Allison hopefully.

"I have my doubts. Morning sickness will increase as the weeks proceed all throughout your first trimester," said their ma, and Allison's eyes widened with panic.
