Chapter 35. Dying to See Her
It was morning, and ma woke a sleepy Allison up for her wedding day. The moment she opened her eyes, Allison felt giddy with excitement. Today was her day. She would be one with Stuart legally, wholly, eternally. But then a bout of nausea hit her and she rushed to her en-suite to throw up. Ma stroked her back and held her hair back as she threw up.
When she felt a little better and came back to her bed to relax, ma gave her some warm water and crackers to soothe her. Sipping the warm water, she closed her eyes, feeling weaker. Slowly, she bit into the crackers and felt much better.
"Relax dear. I'll make your soup," said ma, and Allison nodded. She needed to be calm to go through the day. Then there was a flight to take to Miami in the evening. She wouldn't want to miss it for the world. They had planned it for so long.
Vienna came into the room, fresh from the shower. "Hey, bride, feeling better?" she said in a chirpy mood.
"Yes, better, " said Allison
