Chapter 20. Missing Him

The next morning, Nate disappeared into his office while Aries waited for Andrea to emerge. He would have to leave tonight and he hadn’t been able to inform Andrea yet. As he made breakfast, Andrea’s door opened, and she was about to rush out when he dashed to stop her. 

“Wait, Andy,” he said, blocking her way. 

“Move, Aries. I have nothing to say to you.” She tried to skirt around him and leave, but Aries was quicker. He caught her hand and pulled her into his arms. “Let me go, Aries.”

Aries stared at the angry look on her face and pulled her closer. “I apologized for my behavior, didn’t I? Nate is moving out tonight. Please forgive me, Andy. I can't leave with you being angry with me.” Andrea stilled and focused her eyes on his agitated face. 

“Why not? You’re going on a pleasure trip, right?” She pushed him away angrily, but he was too strong for her and despite her efforts, she again ended up in his arms.
