Chapter 36. At Vera's Farmhouse

The next morning, they loaded their luggage into Aries’s car and sped away towards Litchfield County, Warren, Connecticut. “Is it a resort?” asked Andrea since she hadn’t considered the expenses at all while planning to escape her uncle. 

“No, It’s Vera’s uncle’s farmhouse on the shores of Lake Waramaug,” informed Aries. He wouldn’t have been able to afford it if it was a resort. 

“Oh, great. Then it should be free,” said Andrea with a grin. Aries glanced at her and wondered whether she was aware of the fact that they would be the only ones on the property now. The entire property had been prepared for the wedding and since they were in a relationship, Vera had arranged for them to share a room. With the rest of the rooms locked for the other guests, they didn’t have any other choice than to share. A tremor of excitement ran down his body at the thought. At home, she would rush to the room to escape him, but now where would she rush?
