Chapter 37. Not Agreeing to Elope

Aries gave her a look of dread and continued to eat. It was clear he didn’t at all consider her suggestion. “What? I’m serious. If Dad compels me to return home, I’ll elope with you,” she said with desperation. Aries continued to eat without giving her any attention.

“Aries? Won’t you elope with me?” she whined. 

“Nope,” he said, at last, making her feel frustrated. They were done eating, but Andrea refused to let him go without agreeing to elope with her. 

“Will you let me go forever? Then I doubt if we are indeed in any relationship,” said Andrea, looking upset. Aries gazed into her eyes to show the intensity of his feelings for her. 

“I just won’t elope with you, Andrea. I didn’t say that I’ll let you leave. I can talk to your dad instead of eloping,” he reasoned. Andrea shook her head vehemently.

“I know my dad better than you do, Aries. He will never accept you,” said Andrea. “The only way is to elope,” she stated.
