Chapter 38. Sharing a Bed

Aries entered their room, his eyes burning into hers, promising her a lot of pleasures that had been unknown to her for so long. It was as if they were too hypnotized by the other to look away. He lay her down on the bed tenderly, his eyes still locked with hers, darker than ever. “Kiss me, Aries!” she whispered when he eased himself onto the bed, hovering over her. 

“Do you realize you owe me three more kisses?” he whispered hoarsely, his whole body tingling with an intense need that he had been denying for so long. 

“Did I stop you?” she breathed, shocking him totally. He could not understand how she suddenly changed from a fire-breathing dragon to a shy, docile, and meek girlfriend. He grinned at her and dipped his head to pepper her neck and jawline with small kisses.
