Chapter 11. Was Sean Crazy About Her?
The next morning, Sean sat at the breakfast table with Stuart, discussing their future study plans. They would pursue their master's degree online and work in the meantime. Denver joined them with a sulk. Vienna served him his breakfast. "I've stitched the button. Now stop sulking," she said to him.
"Thanks, Vien," he said. Sean, for a change, didn't even look their way. He just finished his breakfast and took his plate to the kitchen, rinsed it, and went upstairs to his room. Vienna watched him, perplexed by this new behavior.
Sean got ready when he heard Vienna in the next room. All his resolutions crumbled to dust. He tore off a button of his and went to Vienna's room in a few strides with purpose. "Princess, can you fix this?" he asked her. She turned around to look at him as she arranged her closet.
"Sure, leave your shirt. I'll do it later," she said. Sean's face fell. He had other plans. He started unbuttoning his shirt.
