Chapter 17. Realizations

"I think you should study now. I'll go to my room," said Vienna shyly. She just couldn't ask what she wanted to know. Sean was disappointed. He wanted her to probe further. He wanted her to pick up the hints that he'd been giving her, but she didn't. Would he have to try another approach? But first, he needed to figure out what exactly he wanted with her. A friendship? No, he wanted more. A fling? No, she deserved more. Maybe a relationship? Yes, but he wanted a permanent one. He couldn't bear the thought of her getting married to someone else. So, was he in love with her?

Vienna watched the strange expressions on his face and just left with a sigh when he didn't ask her to stay. Maybe he wanted to study, and she was disturbing him with her presence.
