Chapter 10. The Dinner

Jack’s POV

My patience is being tested as I sat in the dining table’s chair waiting for my mate and her sister to come down. It has been minutes since I sent Gemer to fetch them from my room. Her father is sitting quietly on my right side, beside him are two of my pack member Jonil and Michael. Beta Matias is sitting opposite to me and so the three empty chairs on my left side is for Gemer and the two ladies, my mate and her sister.

Three of my best pack warriors are outside on guard duty as we are always vigilant for our safety. Few more minutes have passed when I caught her scent getting closer, my nose slightly flared and my eyes a little sharp as I stare at the wide entrance of the dining room.

“Oh Daddy, I’m so glad you came.”
