Chapter 11. The Future Luna

Carmela’s POV

The night was over leaving me with dark circles under my eyes. I listened at the tic tac of the antique wall clock inside the room, it’s eight o’clock in the morning. There’s only me in the big bed the entire evening, and it’s funny I didn’t get much sleep thinking the alpha would come to sleep by my side but he didn’t. I was preparing myself for a little fight to kick him out of his room that I felt relieved when he didn’t show up.

Our trip to the Langstone Palace as the Alpha had informed everyone was at one pm this afternoon. I’m still not accepting the fact that I am to leave this town in a few hours. I removed the thick blanket off of me and get down from the bed. My destination is the bathroom to follow my morning routine.

I was fresh and ready to get out of the room when the door suddenly opened. Damn! I should have put the lock on since last night.

“I’m glad you’re ready for breakfast,” is what he says running a glance on my sweat
