Chapter 21. The New Mission

Vincent’s POV

It is almost dawn, I was awakened by the scent of scarlet poppies. The smells that awakens my blood, getting into my deepest emotions of wanting to be devoured by my wolfish desire. So I got up from my bed fully aware that Ashley is just in the other room, sleeping. Inhaling the air sharply I put some clothes on and quickly open the door of my bedroom.

The huge clock hanging on the wall pointed at about four am in the morning and I have no choice but to take this body somewhere else or I am going to end up in her bedroom, fulfilling the call of my flesh. My feet took me to the exit door of the guesthouse, unlocking it carefully.

My neck motioned to look at her bedroom once more before I left the house. I am going to send someone to make her a good breakfast before she wakes up, I’m sure by then she will be hungry. The room I have in the palace is probably as big as the guest house that she is staying and I would have preferred to bring her in h
