Chapter 27. Bitten by a Wolf

Ashley’s POV

My luggage are all packed and are settled at the back of my mother’s car. As soon as we are settled in the car her driver started the engine and we head out followed by a pickup truck with four warrior wolves escorting us until we reach our destination. It doesn’t feel frightening to be out there alone knowing that these wolves are going to protect us.

“I hope you are happy with the decision you made Ash, you know we are not aware of the enemies of the prince if they are to attack us after the warriors leave.”

I turned my head toward her, she was looking outside the window. She’s more upset that I left the prince than the fact that we could be in danger, I know that for sure. But I don’t want to say something that will add to her feelings.

“I’m sorry mom, I just want us to live a normal life again. I think that we will be alright since Prince Vincent assured me that the monster wolf and the wolves who abducted me are all apprehended.”
