My eyes did not leave Alex as he moves towards a nearby table with a box of facial tissue on the top. His hands took a couple of the thin white disposable towels and wipe the blood stain on the back of his knuckles. Calib cleared his throat to remind him that I am waiting, Alex disposed of the tissue and bowed his head towards me.

“I’m sorry Your Majesty, I was caught up with my interrogation on the last person with Beta Kasim before he died.”

He moves to the single couch and took a seat near Alex. “That is why I am here, I want to know what the servant told you about the last moments of Beta Kasim.”

“She won’t say a word Your Majesty, I know that the servant knows something but it seems like she would rather die than spill the names of the ones responsible for the Beta’s death.”
