Chapter 75. A Threat in Their Kingdom

Ashley’s POV

I was at home before sunset and as I am finishing my cup of green tea on the serene balcony of our chambers, a worried look on Riza’s face appeared in between the glass doors separating the balcony from our bedroom.

“Your Majesty, the old wizard is in the door asking if you could talk to him. He said it is urgent.”

My brows furrowed, usually Maleficus only asks my situation on the mind link but tonight is different. What could be the problem? Did something happened to my husband in the West? I placed the empty cup on the saucer and nodded. I should know immediately what Maleficus is going to tell me.

“Please let him inside the living room, I will see him shortly.”

Riza left and I followed her but I halt in front of my dresser and make a quick look at my face. Good thing I haven’t put on my pajama yet, I wish Maleficus is not having a bad vision however I already felt a tiny tension rising inside the chambers.
