“Father is this a joke!?”

My father shot me an angry glare while he almost threw the whole coffee outside the cup into the saucer.

“Do I looked like I am joking to you? This matter is already getting out of hand, chaos in the City and now in town. Mister Snipes needed our help, so I’ve come up with this plan!”

I tried calming myself a little when I saw the color of his eyes changes, I know my father has a temper as well as mine but I have never tried fighting with him in physical.

“Yes, I get that but why do I have to take care of this girl? I want to be the one leading the fight against the rogues and bring the warriors safe back home again. Why don’t you let Beta Derek see to the girl’s welfare instead of me?”
