Chapter 6
It was so comfortable I didn't want to get up, and the sweet smell was all around me. It warmed me to my very core—his smell, his smell.
And just like that, I fell back into reality as if a brick had just hit my head. My eyes shot open. This wasn't my room. It was larger than mine.
Grey walls, dark brown wooden cabinets, and a huge king-size bed with blue linen. This was definitely not my room. Instinctively, I checked under the covers and sighed in relief.
I remember Killian and him carrying me into the park house. I am in the packhouse but not in my room, perhaps in his. I twirled around in my mind in a frenzy. What do I do? What do I do? Why would he bring me here? Then again, he didn't know where my room was, so this was the only place he could take me.
