“Alpha,” I bowed low again, acknowledging his presence; this was how it should be—me bowing to the great Lycan king, the Alpha of all Alphas.
“Don’t, Genesis,” he growled, and I felt my face grow hot. I was angry at him. He had no right to keep it a secret from me. “I know you must be mad right now, but I assure you I did not have any ill intent toward you. I was simply curious.”
