Chapter 7
"Alpha," I bowed low again, acknowledging his presence; this was how it should be, me bowing to the great Lycan king, the Alpha of all Alphas.
"Don't Genesis," he growled, and I felt my face grow hot. I was angry at him. He had no right to keep it a secret from me.I know you must be mad right now, but I assure you I did not have any ill intent towards you, I was simply curious."
Curious, of course, he was. A man like him would certainly be curious. Did our time together mean so little to him? I had opened up myself and practically laid myself bare in front of him, what I was, my abilities, I had trusted too fast, always always too fast, always too fast.
"I hope this humble servant has satisfied your curiosity," I blankly stared into his eyes, trying hard not to let any emotion seep through, I needed him to know what this meant for us. As if there was even an us.
It was just an act Genesis.
