Chapter 27. The Ceremony

Everything had been set.
The wedding ceremony was already underway, and every single important person in the entire province was seated inside the grand ceremonial hall. The structure itself had stood for centuries, its tall stone pillars carved with ancient sigils of the pack’s history, its arched ceiling painted with faded murals depicting old victories and long-dead kings. Golden banners hung from every column, each bearing the Valeborn crest, freshly polished and glimmering under the soft glow of enchanted chandeliers.
When I finally walked in, I was struck by the sheer number of people in attendance.
