Chapter 74. The Aghata Saga 3. The Enemy I Love

Aghata woke up and realized that it was dark and that she was hungry again. She felt movement in the bed and was paralyzed with fear. What could it be? She couldn't remember what she had to do to turn on the light and was afraid of what she would find next to her.

The light suddenly came on and she turned away, jumping out of bed when she saw the strange man. Then she remembered that it was the future vampire when she saw the confused look on his face.

"You almost scared me to death."

"You're not scared to death." He laughed back.

"That doesn't mean you won't hurt me." She said angrily. Thinking of Bruma's memories of that creature.

"I brought you some food." He said, pointing to the food cart in the corner of the bed.

Aghata went over and there was a bottle, like the one she had drunk, on the table again, and turned to him.

"This here, I'll never ingest again!"
