Chapter 36

After spending some time with the pack members, it was time to go back home. They arrived and Felix insisted on preparing dinner. He said he wanted to feed himself, so Mercedes couldn't dare deny him that. She sat at the table and watched him do all the work. He rolls the sleeves of his shirt up, showing his veined manly forearms. Mercedes was caught up in a daze of admiration for her mate.

He chopped the vegetables and began cooking. In no time, it was already smelling delicious and that is when Mercedes's stomach grumbled, catching Felix's attention.

“Are you that hungry?” Felix asks, teasing Mercedes, who was already embarrassed.

“Yes. I could eat a person,” she teases back, licking her lips provocatively. Felix, stunned, cleared his throat, and decided to look away from her. Waking up the beast in him at the moment was not a good idea. Mercedes giggled at his expense.
