Mercedes woke up inside a room. Her head was slightly ringing as she sat up. She didn't remember what happened to her. She held her head in her hands and tried to ease her pain.

Alexa went inside and found her awake. She sighed and felt relieved. It's been 2 days since the incident. There was nothing Alexa could do to wake her up. It was up to Mercedes to wake up. It would have been bad if something had happened to her.

“Mercedes, you are awake!” she exclaimed, placing a tray of food in her hands on the table and going to sit next to her on the bed.

Mercedes looked at her in confusion and asked, “What happened? I-I don't remember what happened after we got to Alvira. Everything is hazy, and my head hurts so bad.”
