It'd been days since that incident and Yuna told her the truth about her situation. Mercedes shut herself away. Her emotions were all over the place. She sat in her room and just stared at the wall, all consumed by her thoughts. What was she to do now? She wasn't supposed to get pregnant. Not now. She didn't even know if she was ready for it. To be a mother was a great deal, but it was too much of a responsibility for her to take on now. It was supposed to be good news, but the timing couldn't be more wrong.

Nothing seemed to be going right for her. How would she be able to continue with her training while pregnant? It was not good for the baby. She finished the first trimester, and she didn't even know or notice. How was that possible?
