Myan held the affected cheek, her brain trying to process what had just happened.

“How dare you ridicule me like this?” Kassy snapped in anger.

“Fourth princess, what are you talking about?” Myan shook her head, her low voice coming out cracking, her hand still glued to her cheek.

“You were here the entire time in luxury, but you forgot you were supposed to serve me. Do you think you are actually married to that man?” She folded her hands across her chest. “Please tell me you are joking.” She moved closer 6to the amuse servant.
