Chapter 76. Looking For This

Zane POV

I am still mad as hell when I sink my teeth into Elara’s flesh, but I couldn’t stand to see her crying. As far as I am concerned everything that has transpired between us can stay in the past. I am willing to start fresh if she is.

Pulling my fangs from her neck, I seal the mark with a flick of my tongue. The smell of Elara’s arousal fills the car, and I know she is doing her best to contain herself. As much as I want to fuck her in this backseat, there are more important things to focus on.

When I pull away from her, her eyes fly open, and she lunges for me. It is not the reaction I was expecting, and I am not sure if I should fight her off or not.

Zeus is watching the whole interaction with a stupid smirk on his face. Elara straddles my lap and tilts my head to the side. Her emotions are hitting me through the mate bond like a train. She wants to mark me in return, but she isn’t sure if she should. She doesn’t know if I want it or not.
