Chapter 83. Changes

Elara POV

My head is pressed against the hardwood of the table. It is the only thing keeping me grounded. This meeting has turned into utter chaos, and I don’t think we will leave without Zeus killing someone.

“We should have put it to a vote,” Alpha Jasper hisses. “You can’t just join two packs together without consulting the rest of us.”

Zeus growls angrily at my side. He still doesn’t believe that Alpha Jasper was controlled by Davis. “The last I checked you don’t get a say in fucking anything.”

“How many times do I have to explain my position?” Jasper’s voice is shaking. “I even let that one dig around in my mind.”

I raise my head long enough to see him pointing his finger at Cinder. She is wearing a ridiculous smirk on her face. Her eyes are now marbled like mine. I didn’t realize everyone would be affected. Alas, here we are.

She leans in closely and laughs. “Ask me where Alpha Randolph is?”
