She moved closer to him. "Do you believe I have any connection to whatever plans Shadow and Chaos are devising?" He wished he could deceive her and say she was not involved, but he understood that their predicament stemmed from his decision to keep her uninformed. He had to reveal the truth to her; she was entitled to that knowledge. 

"Yes. I recall the moment when the guards transported you to Crescent Isle and you laid eyes on the ruins. I think you had a vision of what the future holds. Your question about my actions was justified. I felt frustrated because, at that time, I had not taken any action and wanted to shield you from Shadow's impact, but now I understand my actions. In order to achieve this destruction, they needed both of us, and I have already fulfilled my role. However, it is not important since, in contrast to me, you possess a keen sense of judgment and would never take any action that would support the Shadow Realm. I believe in you."
