Chapter 129. Esmeray’s Grandfather

Pulling his bound hands back he clenched them into fists and swung at Aric King, hitting his face Vladimir dislocated his jaw. Even with his bound hands, Vladimir was completely capable of defending himself. His moves were smooth and calculated as a machine while on the other hand, the Lycan King fought with brutal strength while aggression rolled off him like waves.

Now Esmeray knew why Aric King had called him a killing machine earlier. The calmness with which Vladimir fought it was a little terrifying.

When Aric pulled back his clawed hand to slash at Vladimir something violent in Esmeray woke. Before Aric King’s claws could touch Vladimir she created a shield in front of him protecting him from the beastly claws of the Lycan King. When Aric’s claws touched the invisible shield he hissed under his breath before stepping back but not after shooting Esmeray an angry look.
