Chapter 70. Who Is She to You?

Dr. Arnold went back in to see Alexa. This was because of the conversation he had with the operating doctor as soon as Samuel left.

“May I go and see her?” he asked.

“Her condition is critical and I would not advise any visits now but since you are a doctor and from your ID starts that your specialization is surgery, I’ll make an exception. Go in and see how she is. I am open to any suggestions you may have!”

As he sat beside her on the bed, he held her hand and started speaking to her as though she was conscious.

“Alexa,” he started. “though I met you for the second time some weeks ago, I feel like I’ve known you for ages. You are a good person. but you have enemies and have to be careful!” he sighed. “you should fight this. I know you can. Wake from this comma. Your children need you. Who will take care of them when you are gone?”
