The children took Lionel to their room to entertain him with snakes and drinks, they wanted their parents to be alone and discuss about their future.

“Lionel, it’s your turn to eavesdrop on them,” Landon who had already taken his turn said. They were taking turns to eavesdrop to know how the conversation about their future was going.

“They seem to be speaking generally. No talk about marriage and living together!” Lionel reported, disappointed. His disappointment was mirrored in the faces of his siblings.

“Leigh, go and listen in on them, they may say something now about us. How can they not? We are the reason they are here, in this house together, today!” Landon said broodingly.
