"Harad, there's something serious happening," I whispered in a state of shock as I returned to my seat. "Her name is Xanne and you won't believe it but I actually considered marking her as my own despite not being her mate!"

Miserably, I rest my head in my hands. I still couldn't get over the fact that I even entertained the thought of wanting to keep the woman I just met with me forever. This is like cheating on my mate, my thoughts are unacceptable.
