“Don’t you dare walk away from me!” she hissed, her voice low but sharp enough to cut through the tension between them. “You think you can just use me and throw me aside? You’re not getting away with this, Antonio. Not this time.”
Antonio spun around to face her, his expression darkening. “Camila, I’m warning you,” he growled, his voice laced with barely controlled anger. “Back off. I have more important things to deal with right now than your jealousy.”
Camila’s eyes narrowed, and for a moment, there was a dangerous silence between them. She looked as if she was about to explode, her fury radiating off her in waves. But instead of lashing out, she took a deep breath, her gaze never leaving his. “You think you’re so smart, don’t you?” she said quietly, her voice filled with bitterness. “You think you can control everyone around you. But you’re not as clever as you think, Antonio. You’re just a coward who’s too scared to face the consequences of his actions.”
