Book 1: Chapter 68

As Enzo ran through the forest with Aleida's hand in his, he placed his hand into his mouth blowing a whistling sound through the forest, his men raced towards his direction at the sound. 

Enzo's men emerged from the trees, their guns blazing, taking down Matteo's men one by one. Alejandro rushed to Enzo's side, his eyes widened at the sight of Aleida in Enzo's hand, but he knew this wasn't the time to ask questions.

"Take her away," Enzo yelled at Alejandro handing Aleida to him, before dashing back into the other direction to find Matteo while his men and Matteo's men shot at each other.

Enzo ran through the forest, he headed in the direction he saw Matteo run through. Enzo's heart raced with adrenaline as he chased after Matteo. He could hear the sound of gunfire and men shouting, but he didn't let that distract him. His focus was on finding Matteo and putting an end to this once and for all.
