Book 1: Chapter 65

Gabriella straightened up at the sound of Enzo's voice, it was like his voice had given her a newfound energy but she knew it wouldn't be for long with Matteo currently staring at her.

"W-Where is Lombardi?" Gabriella stuttered, knowing this wasn't the time for a reunion. Her life was in danger, but why was Enzo using her father's phone? They must both be worried sick about her, and looking for her.

"Gabriella," Lombardi's voice came on the phone. "My child, are you okay? Are you alright?" 

Matteo nodded his head at Gabriella, "Y-Yes, I am alright," Gabriella replied. "I called to tell you that I am safe, I am fine and I am with-"

"Hand over the phone to him," Lombardi ordered. "I know you are there you bastard, you will do well to bring my daughter back to me alive, do you hear me? If you dare touch her or lay a finger on her, I will kill you, I promise you that," Lombardi yelled over the phone. 

Matteo chuckled grabbing the phone from Gabrie
