Book 1: Chapter 79

The next day...

Gabriella woke up to the sound of knocking on her door. At first, she thought it was a dream, it took her a moment to remember that she was back at the Saviano's estate and that she had been in Enzo's room last night. 

She opened her eyes and looked to her side, she noticed Enzo was nowhere in sight. It made sense why the knock was getting louder, whoever was outside didn't want to enter the room without her consent. But where could Enzo be?

Groggily, she got out of bed, cleaning the sleep off her eyes with the back of her hand, and made her way to the door, opening it to find a maid standing outside with a tray of breakfast with Alejandro standing beside the maid with a concerned look etched on his face. 

"Morning Ma'am, hope we didn't disturb your sleep?" Alejandro questioned. 

Well, she was already awake, so she would say they did disturb her sleep. Gabriella placed her hand to her forehead and shook her head in a sign
