Chapter 23. Together

DANTE’S POV

As I look out my window, I only get more stressed because the only reason Lorenzo Giovanni, Isabella’s father would be here is if he heard about what happened at the club and what happened to my cousin. News travels fast, especially news concerning someone of my position.

He came here without even letting me know and the only reason my guards let him pass is because I had ordered them to let anyone in Isabella’s family in whenever they want, but even at that if Lorenzo wanted to visit me, he would have informed me first and not just arrive here unannounced.

He’s pissed and with good reason but I’m pissed too and if he thinks he’s here to take Isabella away from me, then I have other news for him.

“Did you invite my father here?” Isabella asks furrowing her brows in worry and confusion.

“He knows what happened and he’s here to take you away.” I reply and immediately throw on a T-shirt, hurrying downstairs before Isabella’s father start
