Chapter 27. We Will Win the War

ISABELLA’S POV

As soon as we reach home, we spot Marco in a wheelchair with Valencia standing behind him. They set eyes on us and their faces light up in satisfaction.

“What are you-“

“I thought you died.” Marco answers Dante before he can even finish his question.

“I’m sorry guys. Marco insisted we wait for you both out here. He hs been so paranoid since you two left so maybe you guys should give us a feed back on what exactly happened tonight so Marco can finally rest.” Valencia says standing next to Marco’s wheelchair.

She looks at me and nods her head ins satisfaction and I can tell she was probably worried about me too.

“Well I wish I could tell you all how it went but I’ll let Isabella do that.” Dante says leaning against a wall looking over at me from head to toe with a proud smirk on his face.

“I totally kicked ass tonight. Dante is still the Don. We lost three people so we need to consider that those people are against Dante
