Chapter 44. Antonio Is Alive

ISABELLA’S POV

As soon as we get back home, the guards greet us urgently and the look of shock on their faces tells me that something might have happened.

“What now?” Dante asks as soon as he steps out of our car.

“We received a visitor last night boss.” One of the guards says with a serious expression on his face. We all look at him eagerly as he swallows and sweats and tries to get his point across.

“What do you mean a visitor?” Dante asks slowly, a deadly look on his face as he walks closer to the guard. His nose flaring in anger. A lot of things have already gone so wrong these past few days and I’m sure Dante is not in the mood for more right now.

“At first, we thought he was an intruder sir. But then he suddenly fainted and when we approached him, we recognized him. He’s badly wounded. We had to put him in the guest room. A guest is tending to him right now.” The guard explains and we all squint our eyes in curiosity at his vague explanatio
