Chapter 48. Suspicious Mother?

ISABELLA’S POV

“You’re crazy.” Valencia says to Dante. “You’re so crazy. I don’t even know. Was your plan to scare them out of their skin?”

She isn’t crying anymore but it’s so clear that she’s angry as hell because of what Dante did. He spoke to her parents like they didn’t just receive shocking news.

“My method was efficient was it not?” Dante asks with a bored expression on his face as he leans against a wall. As he folds his arms my eyes settle on his biceps and my mind travels to inappropriate places. How is it that he still manages to look so good even at his worst behavior?

“No Dante. It wasn’t ‘efficient’. They are scared out of their minds. They don’t understand what is going on.” Valencia says as she paces back and forth. After Dante basically acted like a freaking creep in front of her parents, he ordered his guards to take Valencia’s parents to a guest house here on his property.
