ISABELLA’S POV

**two months later**

It’s been two months since my sister died. Two months since everything has been going really well for my father since he finally officialized his alliance with Dante. Two months of my mother changing into something that I do not recognize and I don’t even mean this in a bad way.

After Gianna’s death, things got progressively better between my mother and I. I’m not saying she has apologized to me and tried to make peace, but she speaks to me with kindness now. She doesn’t unnecessarily yell at me anymore and she even hugged me goodbye the other day when I went to visit home.
