Chapter 13
We went back to Mr. Trelawney's room, and as soon as we entered, Mrs. Grant and the nurse came out so that Dr. Winchester, Miss Trelawny, and I remained in the room. When the door was shut, Dr. Winchester asked me what had happened, I told him exactly, giving him exactly every detail as far as I can remember. Throughout my account, which did not take long, he kept asking me questions about who was present and the order in which each person entered the room. He asked other things, but none of any importance; That was all that caught my eye or remained in my memory. When our conversation was over, he said in a very firm manner to Miss Trelawney:
"I think, Miss Trelawney, we'd better have a consultation on this issue."
She replied immediately, apparently to his surprise:
"I'm glad you mentioned it. I totally agree. Who do you suggest?"
"Do you have any choice yourself? Anyone your father knows? Has he ever consulted anyone
