Chapter 123. The Diagnosis

Selena watched her mom sit on the couch, but as for her, she did not want to sit. She preferred standing. Her anxiety was just way too much right now.

She glanced over at her sister, and the little girl was asleep, snoring lightly. The omega smiled before turning her attention back to the doctor that she had never seen before. But the woman looked trusting enough.

And besides, she trusted Elijah and knew that the guy wouldn’t allow just anybody to touch Lily if they were not certified or good enough.

“You don’t want to sit?” Her mom asked her, and she was pulled out of her thoughts.

Selena shook her head and flashed a small nervous smile before hugging herself. “No, I’m okay.” Her voice was soft. She looked at the doctor again, waiting for the lady to begin.
