Chapter 161. Lies of Consequences

Selena stood there and watched the alpha walk away, her heart still pounding in her chest. She was so worried, worried about the guy walking in on his mom like that, and also worried about whether Leon had managed to help the woman.

She expected him to walk down the hallway, and if that would happen, she knew that he would obviously notice the broken door. Then there would be questions. But he did not; he walked to the other side of the house, down another hallway.

And seeing him do that helped her to finally breathe a bit. But she was still worried. She needed to go to the room and see whether Leon was still there, and whether the woman was awake.

The omega waited until the alpha had disappeared from her sight, then she made her way down the hallway that led to the room with the broken door. She walked in and looked around, but she did not see Leon. She checked the bathroom too, but it was the same.

They were gone. But the question here was where had they go
