Selena was sitting in the garden on the concrete bench. It was cold, and even though she had a sweater on, she could still feel the chills.

She had her phone in her hand, and she had tried to call Axiel for the third time now, but he was still not answering for some reason. She really needed to talk to him; she needed to clear up what the alpha had explained to her about him having feelings for her.

She needed to make sure whether it was true or not.

Running her hand through her hair, she tried calling him a few more times. And it was the same, he did not answer the call. So she sighed and stood to her feet, pocketing the device. She knew that she would still see him the next morning because they had a training session.

So all she did was text him, telling him that the alpha had changed his mind about the whole firing thing. There was still no response, but it was clear that the message was delivered and read.
