Chapter 243. The New Alpha

The air was thick, and it suddenly got colder than usual. So cold that it literally started to snow immediately. It was like even the ground under them was soaked with an energy that was not from this world. 

There were very quiet whispers that danced in the atmosphere, and everything seemed so charged with an aura. 

Leon could feel and sense everything that was going on, and to be honest, he was nervous. But he was not going to turn back. He was going to go through with the ceremony. He already knew the steps. He was going to perform the ritual, and he was going to make sure that the guy was the Alpha before they could leave.

His becoming Alpha seemed like it was a bad thing, and it kind of was, but when you looked at it another way, it would be buying them time. It would give Selena the time she needed to be able to get her powers back some way or the other.
