Chapter 29. A Broken Heart
Selena was no longer crying but her heart was so heavy. Her head ached and her body felt like it had been beaten by twelve men.
She still couldn’t believe or wrap her head around the fact that Elijah had really finalized the rejection; that he had made it public. She kept replaying the night she had messed it up, in her head like a broken record.
If only she would have done things differently. But she knew there was no going back in time, it was just impossible. She had to accept things as they were.
“We have to hurry, I just got a text that Elijah is already at the Chambers,” Leon Beta said as he led the way out of the mansion.
He reached one of the fancy cars and got in, soon sitting behind the steering wheel and bringing the car to life before turning and watching the omega get in.
