Chapter 33. A Forbidden Bond

Selena was annoyed, all she wanted was the evening to herself. All she wanted was to lay on the cold hard floor and be depressed.

She had no intention of being with the very same guy who was the reason she couldn’t love Elijah. Plus, she was already falling for him, so she knew that the more time she spent with him, the more she was going to fall even harder and deeper.

And let’s not forget about Cassie, that girl was a psychopath who had one goal: becoming Luna of the pack. It was crystal clear she was not going to let anything or anyone stand in her way, not especially a lowly omega.

But Selena had been ordered by her leader, there was no way that she could say no or disobey. Right?

So she followed the alpha out of the room and they headed for the front door to leave to go to who-knows-where.

But as soon as the alpha opened the front door and they stepped out, they met the beta standing with a cigarette in his hand.

It was lit and he was smoking
