Chapter 34. The Private Road

As they continued to run, something started to happen; something that Selena couldn’t resist no matter how hard she was trying.

She was beginning to shift into her wolf, just like what the alpha had said. Running usually triggered this change, and it would take a hell lot of self control to be able to fully hold back.

She wanted to stop altogether, she wanted to stop running. But it was like she was possessed, she couldn’t stop. If anything, she was even running faster now.

The wind was slapping her in her face, her heart pounding so loud in her ears, and tears pricked her eyes.The moment she blinked, they fell and she started to feel her bones start to break.

Her senses started to deepen and she knew that this was her last chance to stop the change or she would literally shift into her wolf.

Alpha Maddox glanced at the omega and he could see that she was shifting, he needed to stop her. And he knew that it was going to be hard but he could at least try
